I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at Bowdoin College.  

My primary research interests are in  economic development and political economy.

Prior to this, I was a postdoctoral researcher in Joe Henrich's Culture, Cognition, and Coevolution Lab at Harvard University.
